Diploma in Early Childhood Special Education (HI)- DECSE(HI) courses.
There will be an entrance examination for admission to DECSE(HI) program. Graduates are eligible for admission to this course.

Degree HI (BSc (CS) (HI), BFA (HI) & B.Com (HI)):
NISH is the first Institution in the country to propose new degree courses exclusively for students with hearing impairment. The courses are BSc (CS) (HI), BFA (HI) & B.Com (HI). The scheme and syllabus have been so designed that there is substantial practical content and less theory. The University of Kerala has given affiliation and would award degree to successful candidates. The program is innovative and is expected to fulfil the long felt dreams of students with hearing impairment for higher education.

Students who meet the admission criteria regarding deafness as per the prospectus and who passed Class 12 will be admitted to the Degree Course.
