About course :

The Master of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (MASLP) is a post graduate level course affiliated to the University of Kerala and recognized by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI). NISH has been successfully running the course since 2006.

Minimum educational requirement for admission to the course will be Bachelor of Audiology and Speech Language Pathology (BASLP) from any recognized university with minimum pass percentage as per University norms. The total number of seats is 10.

The total duration of this post graduate degree Program consists of  2 years, divided into four semesters.

The curriculum consists of theory and practical classes in the field of Speech-Language Pathology, Audiology and allied subjects such as Linguistics, Statistics etc as well as clinical postings within and out of the institute.

In addition, the candidates will have to submit a dissertation to the University of Kerala at the end of their final semester for course completion.

  ADMISSION

1. Fifty per cent of the general seats (ie., 5 seats) are merit seats. The remaining fifty percent seats (ie., 5 seats) are payment seats.
2. Minimum educational requirement for admission to this course will be Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology from any recognized University or any other degree recognized by the Kerala University as equivalent thereto, with minimum pass percentage required as per university norms.
3. Selection will be made purely on the basis of the rank list based on average aggregate marks obtained in first, second and third year examinations of the Bachelor in Audiology and Speech Language Pathology.
